| JLLCF at HSBC Family Day |
August
August 23 was a sunny fun-filled day for everyone at JLLCF as we conducted a “Kids Olympics” sponsored by U Happy Events Foundation at Rainforest Resort and Park. The event was attended by 100 vibrant kids from JLLCF and from the slum of Barangay Pinagbuhatan. The purpose of the activity is to promote sportsmanship and brotherhood among these children by playing traditional games that they usually play like the very familiar “patintero”, “block 1,2,3 or agawan base” and “tug-of- war.”
The U Happy Events Foundation Team provided food for lunch and sweets like ice cream and cotton candy. For prizes, they gave away stuffed toys and vitamins. Indeed, the children had lots of sun and fun and as for the adults - they had the chance to be like little children again! |
September
HSBC Family Day was held last Sept. 20, in their Head Office at Q.C. As part of this event, a short power point presentation arranged by Ms. Jackie Burton featuring JLLCF and the up-coming 2-storey building project of HSBC was played with a very wonderful soundtrack.
JLLCF kids performed 2 dance numbers which they did very well to the delight of many. After their performance, the children toured around the compound area and tried every fun rides and game booths like sumo wrestling, rock climbing, billiard, memory and computer games. They also joined in the parlor and on-stage games where they won lots of prizes and gifts. As anticipated, they were captured by the Magical Show and the performance of their favorite bands like “Parokya ni Edgar” and many more.
The unlimited food of hotdogs, sandwiches, cotton candy, ice cream, drinks and many more delicious treats made this magnificent event…..Enchanting! |

Kidz Zone April - June 2007

Last April 23, 2007, employees of Santa Lucia East Mall of Cainta, Rizal held an outreach and medical mission for our in-house and community children. Yearly, they sponsor this event at various institutions, organizing games, awarding prizes, providing free medical diagnoses, and feeding the less fortunate, neglected, and abandoned children. By God’s grace, they chose Jesus Loves the Little Children Foundation as the recipient of their benevolence. The children went home well fed and entertained and laden with gifts. What a blessed and fun-filled day! |
